Oil coolers have a wide and important application in extrusion presses, the following are their specific uses:
When the extruder is working, its hydraulic system, transmission parts and moulds will generate a lot of heat due to friction and energy loss. The oil cooler absorbs this heat by circulating the cooled oil, and then transfers the hot oil to the cooler, uses the cooling medium to emit the heat and reduce the oil temperature, and then sends the cooled oil back to the extruder, thus realising the temperature control of the key parts of the extruder.

Improve production efficiency: By precisely controlling the oil temperature, the hydraulic system and transmission components of the extruder can maintain stable working performance, reduce wear and tear of components and failures due to high temperature, and thus improve the operating efficiency and production continuity of the equipment. For example, in the production of aluminium alloy profiles, stable oil temperature can make the extrusion speed more uniform, improve the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the profiles, reduce the scrap rate, and thus improve the overall production efficiency.
